Your Credit Report
Obtaining your Credit Report

The first step is to know what is being reported about your credit and score. If you haven't done so
already, go ahead and obtain your credit report from all three credit bureaus. There are several options in
obtaining your credit report and score.

You can obtain your credit report directly from each of the credit bureaus for a fee (usually about
$8.00 to $12.00 each) The 3 bureaus are:

Equifax
P.O. Box 740241
Atlanta, GA 90974
1-800-685-1111
www.equifax.com

Experian
P.O. Box 2002
Allen, TX 75013
1-888-EXPERIAN (397-3742)
www.experian.com

Trans Union
P.O. Box 1000
Chester, PA 19022
1-800-916-8800

You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report if you've been denied credit, insurance or
employment within the last 60 days. If your application for credit, insurance, or employment is
denied because of information supplied by a credit bureau, the company you applied to must
provide you with that credit bureau's name, address, and telephone number.
"I couldn't believe it! I checked over my credit report and found an error from an issue I thought I had worked out years ago. By using your information I was able to clear it up and could then get that loan I wanted at a lower interest rate than previously expected"
